How can I re-install my bicycle front wheel is removable, so it is not the disc brakes to grind?
It screws on and there is a lever, then acts like a clamp, but I'm struggling to get them on enough wind, so that when I clip it line with the disc brake. Any tips? Cheers I do not think that it is distorted, it worked pretty well before I took the wheel for transportation.
Make sure that the wheel is right in the fork – is thus the axle into the slots in the fork fully inserted. The wheel should be the same distance from the left and right when viewing the rim (on tires) fork. The clamp (quick release) should not be excessively tight, as you drop stops on the slots it fits in. You should insert the rotor into the caliper of the brake, insert the axle, position the wheel is centered, adjust the thumbscrew on the spit, and Flip the lever to pull. Enter to try again.
